What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

When we meet for a coaching session, we are more focused on future goals rather than healing from past traumas and experiences. It may be an important part of the work to discuss how the past and historical patterns might contribute to the present, but our primary goal is to harness your forward momentum.

In a coaching session, we will identify obstacles and brainstorm ways to manage and remove these obstacles. Through coaching, we will come up with new and creative approaches to get you where you want to be. The accountability of the coaching relationship will create the foundation you need to create sustainable change.

Sessions take place by video call or phone. Email communication is also an option.
