What should I tell you about me? Usually, the first thing I tell clients is that I am a native to the East Coast of the United States and therefore have a direct style. I grew up near Philadelphia, PA and lived in New York City for over 10 years. Before moving to Lisbon, Portugal I lived in Seattle, WA for 13 years. My identity as an East Coaster remains strong even though I spent so much time in the Pacific Northwest. I love that I now live in a sunny place, and am thoroughly enjoying my immersion in the Portuguese culture. I’m an all-around crafty person and love cooking, drawing, painting, photography, knitting and am learning to sew.

My undergraduate degree in Secondary Education is from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. In 2007 I completed my Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Psychology at Antioch University Seattle. I have many years of experience working in community mental health as both a therapist and supervisor and love being in private practice and leading workshops.

After living in Lison for 4 years, I now live in Faro, in the Algarve region. My practice is 100% online and I continue to be excited about the mobility it grants.

I am also an illustrator and designer of coloring books for grown-ups (Color Because series) and a creative self-care planner called Keeping it Together. All are available on Amazon.
